Accused Harasser Questioned: 'But Imagine I Could Be Madeleine?'
A woman charged with pursuing Kate McCann apparently deposited her a phone message which posed: "what if I am Madeleine?"
The defendant, twenty-four, who a jury heard has consistently declared she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges accused with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February the current year.

The investigator, a data specialist with the police force who gathered the information, advised the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.
