Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an announcement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.
"The plane landed based on established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.
The secretary was coming back from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This occurrence is not the first occasion that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to head back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
