The woman, who also did not mention the athlete directly, shared a series of photos on social media that seemed to depict signs of physical abuse. She stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the Chiefs selected in the second round.

No police reports were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have occurred.

Rice's Prior Legal Issues

The receiver was absent for the initial part of this NFL campaign due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a crash on a Texas roadway that resulted in several individuals hurt. Rice was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to felony charges.

Statistically, Rice finished the year with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
